I just purchased a 2001 Ranger XLT and I wanted to know your opinons and what you would further do to my truck

-2wd
-Extended cab 4 door
-3.0
-appearance package
-5 speed automatic w/ od
-116k miles
-Fabtech lift (not sure how much lift)
-Body blocks
-procomp alloy rims 15x10's i believe
-35's
-Bfg all terrain t/a on the front
-Bfg mud terrain km2 on the rear
-Bone stock motor
-Stock gear (possible issue)
-Transmission shifts hard


SO! please let me know what you guys think I should do to this truck! I'd love to know thankss

Plasti dip ur rims and front and back bumper and ur grille and emblems. Put nightshade on ur taillights and corners and then do the headlight mod and throttle cable mod. Also black rhino lining for ur rocker panel. Also tint ur windows and replace all ur lights with LEDs and get a bull bar with 2 off road lights attached and some nerf bars

That's what would do. But that's just my opinion. But ur truck looks good just the way it sits now

Everyone hates on chrome... why?

The chrome on the bumper is fine. The way those grilles are the chrome looks wierd. I personally dislike chrome though. Its too flashy. Chrome bumpers are enough for me. I hate seeing chrome mirror caps, handle caps looks way to flashy

yeah the 2 different sets of tires kills me! when the truck was lifted the front end wasn't aligned and the front tires wore down on the inside so we put the back tires on the front and the rear tires are brand new. 500 bucks for two tires was enough for now



any ideas for performance mods? id love to get some more power out of the whimpy 3.0

i'm forsure superchipping it

Looks like you have a 3" body lift, 3" Spindle lift, 2 or 3" rear axle lift blocks and possible shackles in rear and lift springs in front

You could get an underdrive pulley or bigger alternator with the superchip. Dont get a throttlebody spacer or cold air intake. They do nothing for rangers.

throttle cable mod anyone do this before??

I just did this about 2 weeks ago. It works like a charm and I can defiantly feel a change. I can get up and go much quicker.
