The only habit I have with my truck is that all ac or heat settings must be off before I turn the truck off. Drives me crazy when I get in and turn on the key and the fan is blowing.
Oh, and when I park I have to be dead center in the parking spot. I hate it when people hug one line or are crooked.

Other non ranger habits include...

Any bills in my wallet must be right side up, facing the same way and in order from lowest to highest denominations.

I too have to have the heat/ac off when i start the truck. Also, no matter the weather, i have to have a reflective sun visor for the wind shield when its parked for any given time....

sure its a bad habit but i will share...

every time i get the ranger together i rip it back apart... (cant have anything nice...)

ie:
painted the whole truck looked good, then disassembled and replaced the rad support

finally got the full exo console in with bucket seats, new rubber floor.... to find out that transmission was leaking so i tore it all out... to gain access to the panel and found out i am leaking water into the cab, so now cruzing around with only a drivers seat and dash access panel removed for the tranny until i make sure it is done leaking

think i found where the h20 was coming in... running it through the auto carwash today after work to make sure....

ya know make it pretty spend all the time then rip it back apart... like a kid with legos...
