We got some rain out here yesterday, so my buddy decided that I needed to try out my off-road package. He took his 96' Dodge Ram 3500, and I, of course, had my little Ranger. Spent the day running through mud up over my bumper. The truck did great. Never even hesitated.

Favorite moment of the day? Doing donuts around his Dodge when it bogged down in the field.

mudding in a stock cummins is a bad idea.. sucker probably weighs twice your ranger! ranger looks good bud. where you at in MT?

That's what I keep telling him. He had a jacked up 82' GMC with the 6.2 but wrecked it, so he's back to using the Dodge. I gotta give it credit though, because it's never gotten stuck. It bogs down and moves real slow, but never actually gets stuck.

Those pics were taken somewhere north of Bloomfield, which is a tiny little town that pretty much consists of just a gas station and a grain elevator. lol. Far east side of the state.

cool. my grandpa owns a bunch of land out there on the east side that he never saw. i hope to go scope it out sometime next year. ill be out in bozeman visiting some college buddies around new years i think.

There's some nice land out here, that's for sure. Even if all the trees are on the west end. We have the Badlands. Plus we have miles and miles of open fields that turn to muck when it rains.

I'm waiting for a good snowfall to really test out the Ranger. Usually we've had our first by now, but it's been nothing but flurries.

LOL! If it makes you feel better, she got washed a couple hours later. I had no choice, really. The mud that was packed underneath was affecting my steering. Sitting in my driveway right now, all nice and shiny.
