yeah it was so quick- it must have been on a compression stroke of when it ingested water- it literally idled rough, made a bit of noise and shut off. when i went to start it again it was completley locked. i soon found out it wasn't hydro lock. there was water in the oil also.

I've never had a carwash place tell me to turn the engine off.... just put it in neutral.

I agree.

How would you explain water not entering when it rains and such?

Im betting you got water into it at another time, that milky oil means its been well mixed up to get that. So when in the recent past did you pass through some deeper water?

agree, the automatic that i took that pic in uses the under body spray every time. I'd say you had previous issues.

why go to car wash anyway?! it scratch's the hell out of your paint! those things that spin around has washed about 30 cars that day before you and just slapping dirt and crap on your paint. if you don't care about your paint looking like crap go in. but personally i'm not lazy i do it my self. makes your truck look like you care about it. shit i rather pressure wash it rather then sending it through the tunnel :/ but sorry that happen. nice new motor

There area other types that dont use the brushes. jsut high pressure sprayers that do a great job. I have not been through a brush type in like 10 years

years back I had my truck die after going through a car wash. Had to wait like 20 minutes for everything to dry out. Ran like crap for about 10 minutes then no more problems.
