Default Anyone ever try this?

http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fr/full.aspx?Page=94

Looking at using the poly instead of going back with carpet.

If you know of another idea please let me know.

Thanks in advance

Dave

I have determined that most mechanical / electrical challanges are directly connected to the nut that connects the steering wheel to the drivers seat.

My truck came from the factory with a vinyl floor

Many rangers do they are supper nice. Easy to clean

If you want the factory flooring here is the part number 1LSZ-1313010-EAA 1998 to 2003 vinyl floor covering (4 door extended cab only)

It will probably be expensive through the dealer. There are a few online places that are also ford dealers but they sale things cheaper

tascaparts.com <--Located in Arizona

This one is in Texas so maybe more beneficial to you

Then you can hose out the inside of your truck when it gets dirty!

Ford replacement vinyl for anything 03 and older is SEVERLY overpriced now. Used to be able to get a full 4dr vinyl floor for $80. It's now triple that.

The LMC vinyl floor is beefy and pretty darn heavy duty....it's thicker than the stock stuff too. Don't forget your jute padding underneeth. The LMC stuff and the LMC jute will give the truck alot quieter interior.

I'm going to be running the LMC floor one of these days because my stock ford vinyl has huge holes cut in it. lol.

I'd just buy the Ford one. It will fit, it should already have all the holes cut for bolts, seat belts and the jute IIRC is already attached to it on the bottom.

The LMC one looks good too, and at 1/8 thick it is pretty darn thick. I like the rubber floor in my truck. My 04 had carpet, and I don't notice any difference in noise inside at all. I don't have to worry about getting into the truck with greasy junkyard feet anymore. It's awesome.

The advantage to getting an aftermarket "you cut the holes" carpet/vinyl is that you can customize it. For me, I once had a manual tcase in my truck and the removal of the stock manual bezel and addition of the twin stick bezel exposed a hole in the floor. And now, it's vice versa, removal of the twin stick for the stock manual bezel = much bigger floor hole! lol.

Plus...you can eliminate jumpseats in 4dr's and make it actually look like factory jumpseat delete mod.

Ok the Ford factory stuff is no longer available as far as anyone can tell.

We ordered this: http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fr/full.aspx?Page=94

and will let you know how it goes.

I'll try to provide picks as we go.
