Re: Ranger as a work truck
Aw that's lame. Well it is what it is. How are the older F-150's? Are they as bad as everyone says?

I've never heard bad things about older F-150s besides rust

x2
Older f150's are pretty reliable vehicles. Get one with a 300 I6 and you have a pretty strong truck for a 6 cylinder. A 302 or a 351 would pull pretty much any "work load" your describing here, unless your thinking about pulling some completely irrational.

Re: Ranger as a work truck
I used my Ranger as a contractor all the time. Worked great, I had a trailer I towed with all the time. And not a light one. My mileage was shit, but she hauled it all!

Re: Ranger as a work truck
I love both of my 77 F-series trucks, they make great work trucks. My brother had an 82 for a farm truck that came from a junkyard and lasted for years

I use my truck as a lawn company truck. It pulls around my trailer with the lawn mower and other equipment just fine.
