I dont think it would be tough to make a bracket. My only concern would be Getting a drill in behind the header panel to put screws or drill holes for mounting points would be a PITA.

What did you go with, Slim or Raptor Ballast?

I went with raptors too. They just looked more solid, and seemed like they could take a beating. I just measured up the ballast, im going to do some googling and see if i can come up with anything premade.

It would be nice to find some brackets, im very pleased with the DDM kit, but very disapointed that DDM overlooked the ballast mounting.
All the more expensive ones i've seen had no brackets, and people were paying upwards of 140$Can for them, since the DDM's model is under a lifetime warranty, and most of the kits on the net are made from the same few plants (from what i've heard), isn't it safe to say that its a fantastic purchase?

Dont take my previous post the wrong way. The DDM HID kit was one of the best things i have ever installed on my truck. The lighting is killer, and i think the quality of the kit is awesome. I was just disapointed in the fact it doesnt come with a mounting bracket. Im sure there is good reason for this, as in there are sooo many applications for these kits that its just easier for them to send them without some type of a bracket. Rather than sending a "universal" bracket that doesnt work for your application anyways.

I did some shopping around before i bought my kits. I almost paid 150 per kit, it was the exact same setup that DDM sells. I rationalized it because it was 150$, it was more expensive therefor i felt like i was buying a better product. The only thing that ever made me leary about DDM in the first place was because they were so cheap compaired to other sellers that offered the EXACT same product. But the reason they offer them so much less than everyone else is because they own the factory that builds these kits, which makes sense. Bottom line is when it comes to compairing all of the products, prices, and warrantys DDM comes out on top. Im very happy with the purchase i made.

On a side note: DDM does take a little bit longer to ship there product, its on a first come first serve basis. From what i can tell on the website they get TONs of orders. If you pay extra for 2-3 day shipping, dont expect it in 2-3 days (im guilty). Also the day i ordered mine the raptor ballast went on back order, and i had to wait another 7 days before they had stock again and shipped mine out. It was worth the wait. Also the kits dont come with instructions in the box, dont be concerned about this tho. All info you could ever need is in PDF format on the website.

Sorry for the long post, ive been slugging down coffee all evening.

I'm not in a hurry to receive them, mainly because my truck is not in canada yet...lol.

Don't know if i should buy yellows for the fogs or stick with white though.

Do you know what the lifetime warranty cover exactly? Surely it's not the bulbs?
