I JUST had to replace the driverside on my Ranger... They're called swaybar links. you should get the plastic "sleeve" and the bolt.

What I ended up doing was taking a sawsall and cutting the old one in half since I could NOT slide the sleeve off the bolt.

Ended up costing me about $30 total buying the parts at a dealer.

Another member here told me about METAL ones... I don't recall where to get them tho. I wish I found out before I replaced them with the cheap plastic crap.

Now might be a good time for you to install (fab) some sway bar disconnects. Then you would have the best of both worlds. Connected or disconnected, your choice for the situation at hand. Had them on my 2003 Jeep TJ Rubicon and they worked great. Not to sure how they'd work on a Ranger though. Maybe somebody that has them on thier Ranger can elaborate on the prefomance of them on a Ranger?

Like these for example:

What's the point of disconnecting the swaybar link? I'm not too savy on stuff like this... kinda interested in knowing more.
