just changed a head gasket on a 91 ranger and now no power, truck wants to die,

wont move much, whats the issu wanted to figure out what might be causing this thx
its sounds like there a pop when the accelerator is stepped on

sounds like the timing maybe out a little, loosen the bolt on the distributor to where its snug, crank it, and barely turn your distributor, u'll hear a change in idle, get it to where u think it sounds right, and give it some gas, may want to push it to the floor a couple times, u'll hear a difference if it isnt right

check you timing and make sure the plug wires and all connection are tight
