Default bye bye ranger

scraped the old girl today, sad to see my 1st truck go but had a short in the wire harnnes and didnt want to mess with it anymore, shes been a good truck but shes was to rusted to put any more $ in to, hell spent 2grand on my 1200$ beater in to years, but its payed for its self as a good work truck/scrap hauler. now to the point where yall hate, couldnt pass up the deal on a 2wd 97 Chevy 1500 ext cab with a 5.7 350 700$ and an intake gasket was to good to pass up but still got the F250 and the F350 work truck. so wont be on as much but ill stick around, still love the site and maybe the next mud truck will be a ranger, still love them, great trucks

Sounds like you got a good deal on the new truck.

You should have took the bumper off and hung it in a gauge or something. It would make a nice shelf. And a nice conversation piece. Lol

haha should have, but had to get her to the yard before they closed, saved things like about a grand in new and fairly new parts like a day old starter i toke in on warranty, going to sell them and my tires are same size as my chevy so i got some more $ coming from the old girl, but still hate to see her go, always said my grand kids would drive it one day

shes better off, to much time and $ to replace 5 cab mounts, core support, and bed cross members, and the wire harness looked like a pain. but in ohio you need a rust free truck and undercoat the living f### out of it to get a good 20 years out of it or in about 10 you wont have a floor lol
