only bad thing is in my driveway its a 30 min max at the dealership its a all day thing and its a bit of a inconvence.

i have found the easyest way to remove the filter on a 3.0 is with the channel lock type oil filter wrench(courtacy of oil can henrys) or a screwdriver suck throug it. i have big hands and its a tight fir but i can complete the task in 10 min or so.

Well i used to change my oil. But Sandman told me they were doing a oil change at his dealership for 20.00 using Motocraft oil and a Motocraft filter. So I may go take it to him and let him do it.

I change my own on a 3.0L (with mobile 1 full synthetic) and yeh its a little difficult to get to the oil filter but like mentioned earlier nothing like one of the new beetles. I also started changing my g/f's oil in her new 4runner since the warranty just expired. Its almost dreamy, the plug on the oil pan is fairly easy to get to and the filter is remote(from the factory, someone was thinking) and extremely easy to get to. Makes me want to install a remote oil filter on my truck just to make it easier to change.
