Ok so i put a dubstep somg on in my ranger and bam the subs come alive i was suprised i have subs, so is it stock for rangers to have shallow mounts in doors of is it aftermarket? and i know for a fact its subs because my door panel speakers in front have great highs and no vib from them, then about 2-3 inches to left insave vibes so please i want to know if its all stock good quality from ford or aftermarket?! and sorry for bad grammar im just happy because this saves me about $300

IMO the ranger stock audio system is pretty good. I'm pretty sure it didn't come with subs in the doors though they're just full range speakers but idk for sure either way I'm happy wig the stock system and don't really see a point in upgrading

only rangers that came stock with a sub was the tremor with the full length console. it houses a small (8" i think) sub.

well my buddy bursted my bubble and pulled off door panel and its just a good full range

new headunit will probably really make it nice

Some EDGE models that had the full leght console also did. The TREMOR had an actual box in the extended cab if anybody had one there is no way you could miss it.

I tell you what, my 04 edge flare side has an awesome sounding stock sound system. It has a speaker in each door and then it has a speaker behind each seat. No I do not have an extended cab, it is just a regular cab. But it has some herat sounding bass, mids and highs. And this is coming from a bass head from back in the day...(like in the mid 90's back in the day). I used to have a bad ass system, but I grew up.

Anyways, I was way surprised at how well out sounds.
