I have a 2000 3.0L automatic and im getting 13mpg in the city and 17 on the highway. Is this good for the year my truck is and motor ad tranny it has. Im all ears. Im curious to know what everybody else is getting on their trucks. I prolly should have gone with a 5speed and 3.0L.

easy on the gas pedal bro. I got about 20 stock with my 3.0 auto driving mostly city with about an hour and a half of freeway driving every week. Now that im lifted with 32's I get 17-19, and thats under-geared. When offroading I get probably in the 13 mpg range though haha

Im barely on the pedal. I do 60-65 mac on the expressway. Everybodys getting better mpg and they have bigger tires. Could it be becuz i installed a cold air intake and an exhaust? It shouldnt knock off too much on the mpg.

- helped me go one kilometer more per liter of gas. I get 19mpg in a 4.0 4x4 with 31" All Terrain tires.

Bone stock 2002 XLT 3.0 auto supercab with 70K miles. Recent round trip to north Georgia from central Florida. Running on I-75 about 70 - 75 with A/C on. Averaged 21.5 to 22 mpg! Found out that the 3.0 doesn't have a lot of balls when I hit the hills north of Atlanta however!!
