The 3.0 has some power, but compared to other smaller v6s, it's kinda shameful. I can to 15 foot aluminum boat no problem, but put a yard and a half(cubic) of fill sand and man does it struggle. One plus I've found however, is that it's a simple engine to work on. Had a lean fuel mix error code, stripped it down some, put back together no problem. Didn't fix the error code (a few full tanks of premium plus injector cleaner while driving with high rpms did), it was still easy to work on.

Re: Edge Owners
my 4.0 with the 19.5 gallon tank at 15 mpg will get me close to 300 miles on a tank (give or take) - 15 gallons per mile, 10 gallons = 150 miles at 20 gallons = 300 (so... around that)

X2! An official "edge" owners thread would be good.
So really, it seems to me that our mpg's are all over the place. And yes, I know that there are lots of factors that come into play.
It looks like I am getting terrible MPG compared to most of you that have the same set up I have. (single cab, all stock 3.0L V6 2wd).
I bought my truck used with 67K miles on it. I have purchased new spark plugs to put in it as im not sure when they were last replaced, but have not put them in yet. I am hoping that once I do, my MPG will get better like the rest of ya'll.

Re: Edge Owners
I need to sit and figure my mileage at some point.
Once I figure out how to do it, again!
Can get from 250-275 miles on a full tank, with combined
city/highway driving. I can get up to 150 miles at half tank.
Give or take, depending on what I do.
Best I managed was 330 miles on a tank. Was driving almost
50 miles a day to/from work, round trip! All highway!

If I'm around 200 miles for half a tank I'm ecstatic. I fill up my tank with about .5-1.5 gallons left, so 18-19ish divided by my mileage. If I'm at 400+/- a few by the time I fill up I'm happy because its at least close to 20.
