This guy wants to trade me an 88 mustang gt 5spd with some work done to it for my ranger...hmm opinions? I've got my ranger and I have a 1994 grand marquis with 40k so I'm on the fences of 2 v8 cars

I love my pickup, so I'm partial to say don't give up the truck. I don't think they are as bad as some other's claim -- a.k.a. gas mileage and such. My wife drives a Ford Edge crossover because she wants to, so why can't I drive what I want to?

True, I'm pushing 204k too though =\

That Mustang would make a good Donor Car for a Factory Five 427 Roadster project. That is what I did, then I got a Ranger so I could haul stuff.

I've never been able to fit a piece of plywood into any Mercury trunk but I do easily carry plywood in my Ranger.

I put my kayak in my Ranger but it won't fit in any Mercury I know of.

Many, many years ago, I drove a Buick Electra 225 rag top that had a geenormous trunk. I used to haul Westchester stone in it from the stone yard to the job. It was a gigantic trunk but nothing near the capacity and convenience of a pick'em up truck.
