Default Need advice

A couple of thoughts have crossed my mind. I was debating about trading my Ranger in for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler. But then I loose out on a truck box and a truck box option for a Jeep is to expensive. But another thought crossed my mind keep my Ranger and buy the Jeep Wrangler. Or trade the Ranger in for a new F150 super crew. I need something to grow into that's big enough to handle kids and unless I can get the Mexican crew cab Ranger my Ranger can't handle kids. Hate to see her go sentimentally attached to her but she is not big enough.

Keep the Ranger and buy the jeep. Or, trade the Ranger in for a jeep and get a utility trailer to act as your truck bed. That is the best of both worlds.

Except that jeeps have terrible towing capacity. 1,000lbs for a wrangler, 2,000lbs for a wrangler unlimited

Sent from between the spare tire and the evap canister.

Honestly, for kids and work I would go with a crew cab F150. Could keep the ranger as just a work truck. We owned a 4 door jeep wrangler for a while and it had horrible road noise and you could really feel it on a windy day. At times it honestly felt unsafe. Dont get me wrong I LOVE jeeps. But they always seem more like a toy and a summer vehicle then someones DD that they could work out of.

I don't really like the extended cab F150 I prefer the super crew it has the room I need. And I can fit more in the cab plus I can order one with a 6.5 ft box which is great for camping. I think I might take my Ranger in to see what Ford and Chrysler will offer for my Ranger.
