Default Bedlining a hard tonneau?

I have a hard tonneau cover that I picked up for $20 on craigslist. It ain't pretty, or white. I was wondering about bed lining it, and putting some eye bolts in it so I can strap shit to it as well. Any thoughts? Has anyone bed lined a hard tonneau? Thanks!

I would have it professionally sprayed in Line-X if you are going that route... Roll on looks like too much shit to put on something like that IMHO.

My friend and I rolled his ram's bed, it was pretty easy. Line-X wants like $200 to do it, eff that haha.

Plus it won't see hard work, it's fiberglass after all...

Just prep it right and make sure to egt all the "shine" off. Wash it down, dry and clean it with a micro fiber towel/rag and acetone. Spray it with either Duplicolor of Rustolium spray on bed liner, 2 or 3 coats will do. Make sure not to spray it in full sunlight. Or in the wind for that mater. You dont want this to overspray on anything. It can be a PITA to get off.

For this application I would go with the Duplicolor. It has a smoother finish that the Rustolium, which has almost a "sandy, traction tape" feel to it. It total you are probably looking at under $50 bucks.

And before you as or someone starts bashing, I have painted everything form the hood of my Ranger to the riser of a bow with this stuff. It works great, goes on smooth and it very durable.

Hell no it wont look weird. You may need to add a little to the rocker panels to off set it or you taste but ofer than that, who cares. It your truck do what YOU like. I think it would look pretty decent. Rhino lining would look weird because its so thick. Just dont use the roll on stuff. Its good for the bed, but its not good for any thing that will be in full view of everyone.

Prep, spray, install. Then take a look and see if you want to off set it with by hitting the rockers or what ever. Remember to post pick when your done.

If I spray the rockers, I'll look less low haha

You could always paint it with color match. The white would look good. Or put bed liner down and paint the white over that for the textured look
