We have an old 1994 Ford Ranger XLT Extended Cab 4.0L 2WD Automatic, that we are not using anymore and we are looking at getting a second truck (we have a 2008 Ranger). We are thinking about buying a 1998 Ford Ranger XLT Extended Cab 4.0L 2WD Automatic. We were just wondering would the parts (engine...etc) on the 94 fit the 98?

yes most the engine parts can be used not the fuel system or MAS the heads can but the 94's are weak heads and would raise the compression on a 98 all the front end parts are different but the rear end is the same.
