Default Why did you buy your Ranger and not say a Mitsubishi?

The ranger for me was not in the running !!
But after researching the Mitsubishi L200, the Nissan Navara,
the Isuzu Rodeo, Hilux and jeeps, this just kept popping up
and reviews were consistantly good and positive!!

The looks are really growing on me now too, just needs a little help
to look a bit more muscular and brutal.
Something the Mitsubishi L200 looks like straight out of the box.

I love my ranger now :-)

this is my 5th ranger and i have the theory if it's not broke don't fix it. although I'd sure like a 4 door model but if i would have had the extra ching at the time i should have gotten the extended cab and that problem would have been solved..

I've owned 4 Toyota Hilux's. They were great trucks but didn't like the new curvy styling of the latest model so the Ranger was my pick. I like the boxy shape, sharp grill and nice interior also the parts are a bit cheaper than toyotas.
Didn't cnsider the mitsubishi cos I think it just looks weird

i saw one on the lot the day i bought my truck for like 9 g with like 2o g on the clock and was kinda liking it. till i drove the ranger and when i stepped on the raiders bumper the truck sunk like 3" and the ranger sunk but only a little. plus the boys at local ford dealer told me how well the 2.3 held up and last with the right maintenance and there was one in the shop for oil change with a little over 200g on its clock so i was sold!

I bought mine because I bought my previous Ranger new in '90 and drove it for 14 years without any major problems.
