I bought my Ranger because I needed a truck for work, and was broke at the time. I had a Jeep and was really unhappy with it as far as a daily commuter. The Ranger was perfect. It did end up costing me more then I wanted to pay, especially in parts, considering the motor was supposedly new. I still have it, even though it's broken down.

The Mitsubishi Raider is just a restyled Dakota. I actually almost got a Dakota instead of my Chevy. They are pretty nice, IMO.

Funny how all these company's are connected. Mitsubishi used to sell dodge the mighty max now they buy raiders. I've seen loads of Isuzu pick-ups here in England with Chevy badges on too.

I bought my ranger for gas mileage and gave my mom my chevy z71 silverado as a trade in now im lifting the ranger and blowing the gas mileage but it happens i like how easy the truxk is to fix and i loved my chevy but the transmissions are garbage in the 1500 and the 5 spd is alot cheaper to maintain and stronger.

i bought mine after i totalled my grand cherokee bc i wanted something else that was 4wd and a bed. hindsight... i should have gone with a f150 supercrew or an f250 psd seeing that i have no size restrictions or issue with fuel economy. but now that its paid off i can start looking for bigger trucks.

Mine was free. Got it from a securty system installation company last year with 212K on it. 214K on it now and it runs like a champ! Just had to put 4 new rubbers on it.
