Default 1999 Ford Ranger with a bad V flex fuel engine. Would a standard Gas...

...engine fit in this truck with no problems I have a chance to buy a 1999 Ranger with a 'V' (flex fuel) engine which is shot. I would buy the vehicle if I thought a regular gas engine would bolt in. Does anybody know if this would be possible, and what hurdles would I have to jump...
Thanx in advance for any info...

Yes but you will need to do all the ECM's when changing the motors. The flexx fuel motor will not run on standard ECM's and vice versa...

Gee Pee 1, did you have any luck changing over to a regular gas engine? I am at the same crossroad.
