Default Ranger Questions

Just got on this forum as I am thinking about buying a Ranger 4x4. I now have a 86 S10 4x4 with a 2.5 and it is starting to see the end of the road. I live in a rural area and do a lot of miles in it in the fall in feilds, dirt roads, etc. Otherwise I drive it most of the time also in the summer. With that in mind I have been looking around and have found a what I think is a 92 Ranger that looks to be in fairly good shape (private owner sale). I don't know what the milage is, what motor is in it, or the general condition as it is not avaible to look at right now. Just wondering if there are any issues with that year or any other yrs. that I should be aware of before I buy anything? I'm not stuck on a 92 for that matter just don't want to get a yr. or model that has a bad history. I put this over on the introduction site but I think it should proably be here. Thanks for any help anyone might give.

All rangers are good. My 1993 ranger is a 3.0 v6. It gets about 22mpg highway. They are pretty fucking awesome trucks in my opinion. My eninge type is vulcan tech wich is a very durable engine from what I heard. It will not break down easily. Just take care of her and she will take care of you. Get one while you can cause ford is going to stop making them.
