Servicing/seafoaming my "new to me" 91 4x4
i have used the search and did read through several posts about seafoam and i did get a few of my questions answered. I still have a couple though.
I am going to sea foam my "new to me" 91 ranger tomorrow (got it yesterday and i love it). I was wondering when you use the seafoam, is it best to have the truck up to running temp then put it in the crank case? I got one can so i figured i would put about 1/3 in the fuel tank, crank case, and 1/3 through the brake booster. I am doing a complete service as far as changing all filters, plugs and wires and checking all fluids. Is it better to let it sit for 10 minutes 20 minutes or what? Any other crucial checks i should do while i am at it that anyone can inform me of would be great as well. Should i clean the MAF or leave it alone? (if it ain't broke, dont fix it right?) This is my first pick up truck and i already love it, just want to take care of it as best as possible. Thanks for any response as i know this topic seems to come up quit a bit.
