I have never owned an S-10, but I know people who have, and I think that the Ranger holds up better .

ONLY LITTLE BOYS WEAR BOW TIES FORD RANGER WAS THE BEST SELLING TRUCK FOR 13 OR 14 YEARS UP UNTILL 2006 any way u must of hit ur head to ask with truck is better on this site

i have a 2005 fx4 stock

My buddy has a 94 S10 SS that has about 220k on it. He has had a fair share of issues, but overall it was a good truck. It now sits on his land as a lot truck. He bought a Jetta 2 years ago. My 99 B2500 (Ranger) has 125k on it and I just drove it 2000 miles from Colorado to New York without a single issue. The SS was VERY quick, but it was built for that. His brother has an 02 Sonoma with ~45k on it. He has had wheel bearing issues, premature tire wear, and other problems. I can't say I have enough information to make a valid decision, but I would say both are good trucks.

But its still a good argument.

My buddy had a 2000 2.2 auto with mods. I forgot about this lol. It made TONS of noise and went NOWHERE. He couldn't do a brake stand without us lifting up on his fenders. I've only had my 99 2.5 for a week or so, but I can light that mofo up real good and fish tail with the best of em around corners.

my buddies zr2 eats my 2.3 ass all the time (racing, no homo) lol. but rangers do look better

id say ranger i have a s10 an its been nothing but problems new engine gas tank fuel pump problems with the injectors with only 150k my ranger has 100k and i blew the engine beating on it in the woods. i wouldn't even think about taking the blazer in the woods it break Chevy suck

well this is a ford site so im gonna sya ford. no offense to anyone but i think s10s are trash and i dont think very highly of them even thou i prefected my manual drivin skills in one but my first car that i learned to drive a stick in was a 1991 mustang with a 460BB with about 900hp i burned up the clutch and tires so that was my first and last time to drive one but i didnt need to use the gas on starts i just had to let of the clutch witch was fun. but id really have to say TOYOTA is the end all be all of small trucks and not the newer ones the older one the pre 95 ones are the S**T but thats just me
