What is the dumbest thing you have ever done in your ranger?
For me personally, it was last summer I stayed up most of the night and went to church the next morning and on the drive home I fell asleep and drove off the side of an Indian reservation road. Luckily it was about 50 yards after a steep ravine on the right side of the road and I just kinda rode up the side of a hill with my right wheels, and got a bunch of dirt and sticks stuck up in my t case and drive shaft area. It freaked me out, I only had it for about 9 months and I didn't want to dump a bunch of money into it in repairs. Glad its ok, but it has pulled to the right a little ever since lol.

Probably going sliding around an apartment complex at 3:30 in the morning because I was bored.
Or going 55 down a washed out gravel road with 5 people in the bed.

Speed? I hit to governor multiple times in my last one but with how much I paid and how much I depend on this truck I'm not going to do anything to jeopardize it.

Re: What is the dumbest thing you have ever done in your ranger?
Dumbest thing I did? Bought it.
Second dumbest thing I did? Didn't sell it when it started to give me shit.
Third dumbest thing I did? Took it through a mud hole, and then proceeded to crawl up a washed out 60 degree incline trail. One of those little endeavors knocked my TCC solenoid out of it's bore, and made my truck run like shit for the next four months until I finally pulled the transmission pan and found the broken bracket, and missing TCC solenoid bolt.

Dumbest thing I ever did in my ranger(b-series).... well she had worn out rab and bracket when I bought it but I was so excited to have it I proceeded to drift it in an open parking lot at 40 MPH. Bout shook the teeth out of my skull. Still fun though. And its fixed now so its all good under my hood

Re: What is the dumbest thing you have ever done in your ranger?
I was trying to get home from college and all the major highways were all flooded from the 3 feet of rain we got, so i tried taking all back roads and it was going good till my GPS told be to go up a power line road, and if you have a truck that is a 4X4 why would you turn around and go another way. Well I made it up the road through a stream and than the last twenty yards all the rain washed out the road. and since my truck is all stock but tires I figures I might as well turn around before I get stuck on this back road 1 mile away from the closes house. Well just like clock work, I was backing up and sank in a huge hole I didnt see, an hour later I ended up blowing out my reverse band in the transmission. Some lid called his friend and he had a lifted, all indipendnt suspension jeep with 44's and a winch. He help me get out and drove home with a blown reverse band banging around in the tranny for two hours. Just say you have to park smart because you cant back up ha. $600 dollars later its back on the road. F me right!!!

Re: What is the dumbest thing you have ever done in your ranger?
I treat mine very well. Stupidest thing that I probably have ever done was I didn't put a parking pass in it for my apartment on the first day I got it. A few days after that, a tow company had towed it and it cost me about 300 bucks to get out.
