My $33.85 each Upper Control Arms/Ball Joints Arrived
I found some Dorman upper control arms on the internet for $33.85 each... and ordered them.
They arrived today and it looks like they'll work just fine although, they don't have a zerk fitting... just like the originals.
So, $76.65 for both of them and they're made in China.
I attached a couple of pictures.

Re: My $33.85 each Upper Control Arms/Ball Joints Arrived
Ok, I had my new upper control arms with ball joints and bushings installed today and replaced the outer tie rod ends.
My total costs were as follows:
2 - Upper Control Arms with ball joints and bushings: $76.65
2 - Tie Rod Ends: From Kragen/O'Reilly: $12.00 each $24.00
Installation and alignment at Big-O Tire: 8-Redbulls+ $80.00 cash
Total:-------------------------------------------------->$180.65
and everyone in the shop was drinking a Redbull!
No more squeak(s)!!!!!!

I got them here:
http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/199...ntrol_arm.html
And the truck drives nice. All of the squeaks and the associated weird noises are gone!
They are "Dorman" brand and only drawback is that they are sealed and don't have a grease fitting for the ball joint. But, I think that the Auto Zone items are the identical "Dorman" item. When I was researching, I went to the Dorman site and they listed "Auto Zone" as one of their suppliers.

Re: My $33.85 each Upper Control Arms/Ball Joints Arrived
I bought both door lock motors from partsgeek for less than Auto Zone or Advanced wanted for just the passenger side (including freight).

Re: My $33.85 each Upper Control Arms/Ball Joints Arrived
Good price! I got moog brand upper control arms with ball joints, lower ball joints and inner/outer tie rods ends for $189.99 with free shipping on ebay and cost $285 to have them installed and realigned. Mine don't have grease fittings on the upper ball joints either.

Yes, they did.
They even gave me a printout of where the alignment specifications were, before the work was performed, and then after their alignment.
In the 'before' picture everything was in red, meaning out of alignment and after the work and alignment... all the specifications were in the green zone, meaning within factory specifications.
I just got back from a little ride through SF and the truck really drives nice!
