Default Hauling a dirtbike

Hey guys I used to haul a dirtbike in the bed of my 03, but I can't remember if I had a toolbox in it at the time. Is it possible to put a bike in the bed with a toolbox, if so do you have any pics? I don't have another bike yet, but I am planning on getting another one hopefully this summer.

When I used to do it I left my tailgate open, but the back tire was on it. I don't think it will work with the box in the truck.

I plan on getting my first 2 wheeled dirt machine this year coming as well, so I can get used to riding a motorized bike and get a street bike soon enough. My sled is 11ft long, and i manage to fit it in the back of my ranger, but then again, its a sled, I can put it on top of the closed tailgate.. A bike you can't.. hmm

Well its not a huge deal, there isnt really anything in my toolbox anyway. The only downside is the previous owner mounted the toolbox by using self tapping screws through the bed so I'll have two holes there if I take it off. Hell its not a show truck anyway so it doesnt matter I guess.
