ABS light and Check engine light
ABS light comes on whenever it wants, such as hitting a huge pot hole in this shitty state. And my engine is running lean codes but o2 sensors are still good. Any ideas?!?!

I just spent $550 bucks because of my stupid ABS light. UGH.
Check that the sensor on top of the rear axle is plugged in/tight. (That was NOT the issue on mine)

could that also be the reason while im driving I hear a rattle sound on the rear drivers side. Sounds like rocks in the center cap but there arent any?

I'm not sure, to be honest. If the ABS light is on, you can get it scanned at like O'Rileys for free.

it comes on intermittently so its not a constant issue, just when I need to get across the ice

Hmm. Well, check the wire on the sensor, and if the light comes on when your driving, drive to the auto store. Haha.

Lol in all vehicles except my Ranger(that we have ever owned) the check engine light is on and the ABS light is on. My moms Windstar went in for brakes about 4 months back, she left Fords parking lot with the ABS light on.. we don't worry about it anymore. :P

do you have 4wheel abs? if so check the front sensors to see if they are plugged in good. or they could be going bad also. and yea check the back sensor too. the sensor wouldnt cause rattling like that.

yes I do have 4x4 ABS and I will check those. Any idea what the rattle could be?

honestly... hard to say..... is it when you go around right hand corners? left hand corners? go over bumps? accelerating? stopping? sure its the driver side? check the spare tire mount maybe???

idk man i would just check everything and make sure its all tight. like bed mount bolts, leaf spring shackles, u-bolts, lug nuts, shocks, spare tire carrier???? just check evrything back there
