Default Trailer weighed for a 94er 2WD

If got an over for a
1994 Ford Ranger XLT
2WD, 5 speed
4 cylinder
100,000 miles
The mounted hitch is good for 4,000 or 6,000 pound.
$3,000 (Is it too much?)
The Ranger looks great and runs just fine!

I want to go from Ky to Ca and back with a Pop-Up-Camper and I'm
not sure if the Ranger can pull it for so long without wearing the clutch
out and destroying the engine.

So, how much weighed can I pull?
For sure not 6,000 ...

Cheers,
LexRanger

looks nice. but you look at the sticker on the door jamb and that will tell you what you can tow and remember to subtract the camper shell weight from that number. and remember it an max load not just the trailer weight! good luck

The prob is that I'm in Ky and the Ranger is right now in Pa.
And I can't get a hold of the owner.

It took me too long to make a decision ...
So the Ranger is gone.

But thanks for your help.
