Default why is my ford ranger making a wierd noise?

i have a 1999 ford ragner 4x4 with 3.0L 70000 miles 4 speed auto, and when it gets warmed up it will start making a high pich noise that sounds like it is spinning and as i accelerate it sounds like it is geting faster and as i let off the gas it sounds like it is turning slower but only as i move forward

Sounds like a bearing inside the engine or even a wheel bearing. Since it is in sync with the acceleration of the engine. I would assume an engine problem. Maybe the water pump , etc. Dry wheel bearings make a buzzing noise also.
