Congrats on being safety-conscious. Not a common trait among younger, new drivers. Why not try to track down the reason your dinger doesn't work? If you fix that and get in the habit of turning the lights on every time you start the truck it won't be long before you're also in the habit of shutting them off when you turn off the ignition.

Cheap, effective, and you're building a habit that will stick even when you're driving some other vehicle.

Easy - use a relay on the PCM circuit. If the computer is on, your lights will be on.

i hate D.R.L. you have a funeral procession come upon you, and you cant tell where it ends because of all the vehicles with lights on all the time. i had 1 vehicle with them once, i pulled the fuse so they wouldnt work. another trick if you have a g.m. vehicle with them and you dont want them on,push the parking brake to the first notch, they go off and the rear brakes dont have enough tension on the cables for them to be applied. i like the suggestion on being painted with a bright color! grab-her orange comes to mind. i got rid of my "dinger" as soon as i got it home.

That doesn't work on my Sonoma, I've tried, many, many, times, but the fuse works wonderfully lol

Yes, it works on a lot of em that I have driven but my Sonoma IDK why. Could be the previous owner who used to tow my Sonoma behind a RV the *******, probably spliced it weird so I can't. I hate em with a passion.

You live in Seattle, 8th worst traffic in the nation or something like that. I just drove through the other day with the gf. They don't see you unless you have red and blue flashy lights and your heads so far up there arse that you are yelling out of their mouth lol.

Hahaha... last I heard we had the worst traffic... something figuring in percentage of drive home spent going a certain percentage under the speed limit.... hehe... I love driving in Seattle though when it's not rush hour....

Montana traffic jam equals leaving the bar at 2 am, cows, or the wife of the cowboy showing up with a shotgun as her husbands bailing out the back door with his pants at his ankles lol. I Seattle, 117 days and I move back. Anyone want to go to the bar? lol
