I must have a mutant Ranger... I have Sport gauges, fender flares, 3.0, 6 disc mp3 and a 5 speed to top it off... any one know if this is the norm or is my Ranger a true mutant?

No mutant there.... you undoubtedly own a Sport model Ranger....

Though it does look like your bumper's seen better days. lol. BTW...it's NOT an XL. Though it may have XL door panels if you don't have power options. Sport is one step up from XL in lines of "base" to "better equipped".

So the only thing I don't understand is how the Thunderbolt Level I, Level II, and Level III options tie in with the XL, XLT, and EDGE.

I owned a used 2002 (I think - may have been 2000 or 2001) Ranger FX4. It came stock with an ext cab, 4-doors, 3.0L V6 (I think), 5spd, sliding rear window, skid plates, torsion bars.... I'm pretty sure it had 16" rims, but I can't recall if they were Alcoas or not. I don't think they were, I think they were just stock alloy rims. I know it had the black honeycomb grill, and fog lights too.

That's all the detail I can remember. Where would something like that fit into this list?

I wish I had never traded it in.

I know on ebay they have the tan floor mats. Never seen the keychain or the decals

You wont be able to afford it from the dealer. If you found one in a junk yard you would be incredibly lucky and I would also pick up a lottery ticket on the way home.

As far as the tow hook picture it was there I will have to look into it later tonight.

Did the 04 xlt only come in the 4 cynlinder? I have a 04 xlt with the 4.0

What exactly was changed between the 98-03 seats and the 04+ seats? To me they just look thicker and two tone, but that might just be because of not as much wear due to year

Also, might want to show the change in steering wheel design

Possibly I overlooked something, but does the 06+ Sport model come with a 4 cylinder option? Most of my research says no, but I've seen listings on Carmax that says otherwise.

I'm not sure if this has ever been mentioned, but someone should do a Break-down of the Mazda B-series trucks. I know that Rangers out number the Mazdas like 10 to 1 or something, but still, they're lots of them out there.
