It'll fit any 98+ manual ranger.

In the 97 and older mazda M5od's, you'll need to swap the pivot ball to the newer style. The bolt that holds the shifter onto the pivot on the older models goes from front to back. The 98+'s are side to side.

Well, I did buy it used... but it now has the regular black grille I thought the chrome grilles didn't come on XLTs until the '08 models.

03ish-07 base model XLT's didn't actually have chrome anywhere...they just looked like XL's with XLT interiors. SO FEW left the production line like that, that most don't even know. John and a couple other folks enlightened me to it becuase all I knew was some 07 base XLT's had black grilles....chrome was an option. 08+, all were standard. Today I saw first hand a 01-02 XLT with XL bumpers and XLT fender badges. All stock truck.

Anywho...the vast majority of XLT's do have chrome. I'm willing to put a 95% of them number on it too.

Maybe John will pipe in with input.

Around here I see alot without the chrome, but I guess it'll vary depending on where you are. The chrome package upgrade just seems like a must-have to me, since otherwise it looks like an XL.

It seriously bothers me that I am chrome grille-less. I want to get one, but the cheapest I've een 'em for is like $130! Mine must be the lowest of the XLTs, I also have the ****ty plastic chrome rims .

If I had the funds to buy one brand new, I would have no doubt gotten the chrome set up.

The chrome grill from Certifit is like $40, if you have one near you. They don't ship, sadly.

The closest one is like 300 miles away . Thanks for the tip though, I do have family down there, so mabye they would be nice enough to ship it to me!
