hmmmm that may be worth looking into. I found a chrome grille on ebay for 75 with shipping included, BUT it's only a snap-on that goes over the grille I have now. If I do order from Certifit, I'll have to call them. Website w/o pictures confuse me .

you want P/N FDRG10DE, Grill, 06-08, without STX model, chrome.

And I was off on the price a bit, it's my grill that's $32.75. Yours is $82.50, but it's a stock replacement, not a clip on cover.

That's on page 92 of the catalog, FYI.

John did you select the Florida location for that price and part number? I came up with FDRG1OTE $82.50

Yeah. The only difference is "de" or "te", so I'm guessing "dallas" or "tampa". Same price though, and I bet they would cross reference it.

Hope this question is OK for this thread if not you can delete and i will start a new thread.....

I have the 290 watt system in my 05 edge but there is no AUX. Did ford ever make a head unit with AUX and 6 disc in the head unit? If so would it be compatible with the factory 290watt set up in my truck?

2006 and up they did

As far as compatible with the 290watt I am not positive. A radio from 2006+ will swap right in. I'm not sure about how it powers the amp for the system you have

My Screamin yellow 07 must have had some options on it as my wheels are the 16" Y-Spoke Cast aluminum that are shown with the 2008-2009 wheels. My truck looks like the yellow 06 + XLT chrome. I removed the chrome grille and replaced it with a custom expanded metal grille that I made as I needed a place for my front strobes. I also have the side step bars that came from the factory. I thought I had the original window sticker but can't seem to find it now. Thanks for the info folks.

You wouldn't happen to have that chrome grille still laying around, would you?

so i have a question the VIN on my truck says that it is a FX4 Level II but they window sticker says XLT/Edge

options:
white edge gauges
pioneer 290w system with full console
vinyl floors
16" alloy's
limited slip
4x4 off road sticker (nothing else)
body color grill/bumper
black tow hooks front only if i'm not mistaken
4.0L
5 speed auto

is it a edge or fx4 level II? is there a way to tell which limited slip it has?

The VIN doesn't specify the model type of truck

From your avatar I can tell it is a Edge painted bumper and painted flares.

would have to look at the sticker on the driver door area and match it up using this here

This truck uses code R1 (for 2-door) and R4 (for 4-door) in the 5th and 6th positions of the VIN.
