Default Gas on extended vs single

So I been looking and really haven't found much of a difference. So between the extended cab 4.0L 5 speed 4x4 and the single cab 4.0L 5 speed 4x4. The only difference being the cab size. Would u get a great difference in gas mileage or would it b to small to notice? Thanks

4.0 MPG sucks to begin with and the majority of them are ext. cab 4x4s to begin with...but i think the difference would be negligable

Ya that's what I was thinking. Cuz its jus like couple hundred pounds more for the extra cab.

Mine is a 4.0 4X4 Auto single cab and my gas mileage sucks. It's not horrible, but it's not good either.

There probably is a difference for sure but that slightly better mileage wouldnt be worth losing the extra room IMO

Like everyone else said, not a significant change in wieght, no real change in aerodynamics, = no real change in fuel economy.

The weight difference is like having another adult with you.
