Default explorer 8.8 swap

im getting ready to do a explorer disc brake 8.8 swap into my 94 4x4. i have the 8.8 in it. i need to get the pinion angle correct on the explorer one. to get it off the one on my truck i can simply just put and degree finder on the diff housing when its sittin on level ground right?

i just got the explorer rear end today. really would like to know if anybody could help me out on this???????

If not then i guess i will figure it out.

Stock pinion angle is 6.5 degrees positive with the leaf spring seats set at 0 degrees. Shock mounts are set at 40 degrees with pinion at 0 degrees. Use the degree finder on the pinion flange.
