Not knowing if it has power options or what the exterior interior condition and if it is a XLT KBB.com says this

Private Party Sale
Excellent $3,540
Good $3,240
Fair $2,890

imho kbb is for the dealers and the goverment. there prices are not accurate. Edmunds.com is the most realistic auto valuation website. the low mileage will help you out . I am prob not a good person to put a value on your car. because I have spent a lot of time over the years studying the subject.. "In general" i ill not pay more than edmunds tradin( Clean condition for a car). Also as posted earlier we dont know that actual condition what options u have and what you have done to it. I have the same truck you have and if your truck has been in Chicago its whole life it is prob ready for all new brake lines. new shackles and maybe hangers for the leaf springs along with the obvious issues like upper control arm ball joints shocks etc.. see if you can trade it for a bigger one the small ones are in demand cause of the gas mileage

That is your opinion. I just put the same truck with same options on both and they were within 100 dollars of each other

I probably spoke out of turn. I have not looked at anything that kbb or nada have had for probably more than 10 years. I don't know this for a fact but I think when edmunds came out with there trademarked TMV they put pressure on the others to come up with more accurate evaluations. I find it an very interesting topic and I am getting older so I stick with what works for me. I does seem that most people selling a car do mention there kbb price and when I go to my system I use on edmunds the price is invariably lower. I am glad kbb works for you . I have never been a big fan of the government or had a need for dealers(except for new cars) and I am pretty sure neither one of them use edmunds. Some people find comfort in going to a dealer for a used car. they get the warranty and it works for them . I would rather buy a car for 30% less from a private party and take the chance.
