disconnecting fuel lines
i was going to replace my fuel filter today but i cant get the fittings off. i tried getting under the little orange and green clip to pry it out but no luck. how do u get the fittings off??

I soaked mine with some WD40. Then I pushed the fitting into the filter, pressed the clip then gave the fitting a tug. You may need to use pliers. Just don't forget to relieve the fuel pressure and use goggles/safety glasses.

so just soak it and then press em forward, and do u push the tabs in or pull em out? or just pull straight on the fuel line

Soak them a bit them push the fitting into the filter. You push the tabs in.

There is a tool that most auto stores sell that will release those fittings. They sell for around $10 and are worth it. Again make sure you bleed off the pressure and wear safety glasses before you disconnect them.

You don't need the tool. Its a waste of money.
