They can go practically anywhere
They can take abuse (Trust me lol)
They can last basically forever (If taken care of)
They can haul A LOT (Had 1/2 ton of gravel in mine over the summer)

i had a cubic yard of crushed shale/granite ...shit is HEAVY but it worked like a champ

Regular maintenance and tender loving care is the only thing that is slowly helping my Ranger get over it's horrible past with moronic Ford technicians who can't figure out how to unplug connectors and keep track of all the bolts.

I'm experiencing that right now. My ranger is at the shop to get the heater motor replaced which my extended warranty covers but the workers are taking forever! At least they gave me a rental.

Still love my ranger though.

Also I was involved in an accident earlier this year with a Lexus and a Gmc truck. I was stopped at a stop light when the Gmc truck hit the Lexus and the Lexus bumped into me on the rear bumper. The Gmc and the Lexus had damages and mine walked off with only a damaged hitch cover!

Mine's got 213k on the clock, I'm the 2nd owner, and good god will that thing go like stink, it's just a 2.3 5 speed but I've stomped a gt mustang in it haha.

I switched from my old 1993 ford f150 5.0 5 speed for my 1994 ranger xlt 4.0 automatic and it was the best decision i ever made. I love this little truck and ive only driven full size trucks. And my buddy works for waste management and his work truck is a 98 ranger 4.0 automatic. And its got over 320000 on it and running strong and most of that is spent hauling a 5x8 enclosed trailer while hauling around 1000 pounds of trash in cans. Anyways rangers are damn good trucks and im proud to be a owner of a ranger

the lift options are pretty good actually you can get nine inches out of your ranger with a 6 inch suspision and 3 inch body lift
