Re: how to make my truck level 2
youd need a black interior, 31 spline 8.8 axle with l/s and 4.10s. alcoas, 31in bfgs, lvl II tow hooks, and thats just a start if i think of anything else ill let you know. is your a manual? if it is youll need the FX4 shifter and ball.

Re: how to make my truck level 2
Buy a level II.
Its probably gonna cost you more to make your xlt a level II than actually buying a used one. Especially if its a manual.

Re: how to make my truck level 2
Level 2 is overrated. Just being Level 2 doesn't mean much, plenty of non L2 trucks are more offroad capable.

Just having the Level 2 package doesn't automatically make the truck a lot more capable.
I could put a Expo axle in my Edge and it would be just as good as a Level 2.
The main differences are appearance. It sounds much more "offroad" because it says Level 2.
