[QUOTE=Fx4wannabe01;38080]ugggg....you made me work! lol.

Went and looked at your intro thread(DARN attached pics don't link to anywhere!). And if it were my truck, here's some things I would do:

-Replace tailights with something else, send old tails to Seattle. Seattle Washington or is that someones user name?
-Replace headlights and turnsignal/corner lamps with a set of 'euro clear' ones. That would be cool!
-Paint antenna black or get a black shorty antenna. Black? Good idea! It will match my cool bug deflector!
-Install 98-05 'styled' manual mirrors.Pick and Pull here I come!
-Remove the stylin' bug shield. NEVER!!

I'm sorry...I can't seem to pick one thing out! haha. All those are fairly cheap things to do too.

And for some inspiration, here's my friend Billy's truck about a 2 years ago... Nice, but...I need the truck to go fishing!

Is you friends truck in Europe FX4? Looks like a foreign License plate under that bumper.
Anyway he does have a sweet rig there but like I said, the truck will be used to go fishing and camping. (And hell I might as well take that pile of trash I have in the back yard to the dump!) Lowering it is definitely a No-No.

I'm glad you like my little cheap suggestions! haha. They'd be a good starting point for ya. Yes...Seattle, Washington. lol.

Actually no...he's here in Oregon and he mounted his plate behind the bumper so the numbers display so he can still be legal(ish). lol. It doesn't hurt the look of the whole truck mounted where it's at.

That's understandable about the stance. Those pics were to just sorta show you the kind of things that can be done using stock parts and what your truck could be should you choose that direction.

mines a 2000, xlt 2wd, but the same truck basically.

the first thing i did was get some new tires.
i work construction so some sites are pretty muddy, nothing that needs 4x4, but definitely something that needs tires with some tread. also i wanted something that would get me moving in the snow.

also they are bigger then the stock tires, by like 1 1/2 inches which fit the truck way better. didnt notice a difference gas milage wise either.

so i got these.

then i didnt like the look of the headlights. they are too old style, and i think ages the look of the truck so i got these on ebay for $100. they still have the orange reflector and i put orange bulbs back in so its all legal still, but looks like headlights on newer cars and trucks.

also i painted the bottom valence black. why when every other piece of plastic on the truck is black they make the bumpers grey. so i thinl it matches much better.

the lights also have these 5 LEDs that run down them, next to the grill. havent hooked them up yet. maybe next summer, we'll see.

tho i think the next thing will be a lift kit of some kind. they are pretty cheap for the 2wd's.

Chris your truck looks awesome! I really like that color! Is that custom or was that a actual option?
My Ranger came with new tires but what I like about yours is it reminds me of the Tonka trucks I use to play with as a kid. The lights are cool too! But what I really like is the bug shield! LOL

LOL. I like a Ranger owner that's not afraid to sport the bug shield. Buck the trend!

no thats the factory color. hehe you should see it now, you can barely see it from all the mud.

the tires were pretty cheap too, got them on sale during a buy one get the second half price deal. $600 all said and done. and they work really well. but if yours are brand new you might as well keep them.

i like the bug shield, makes the front end look likes plain, also a little bigger.
