i have a 99 ford ranger. i turn the key, the dash lights and radio come on but it wont start. this is happening more ferequently. im thinkin the battery may be wearing out since it was bought aug. of 04. any other ideas?
when keys turned it makes no sound at all. no clicking noise

take the battery to the parts store have it tested its probably dead

get the battery tested, then the alternator, then if it still wont start check out the starter might be fried
