Where is the block heater placed on an 1987 Ford Ranger?
Mine is all shorted out and it was -20 degrees last night so i really need it working.

Block heaters are either in one of the freeze plug holes on the side of the block or a spliced inline heater in a radiator hose.
Just follow the power cord and you'll find the heater.
