Default Whats the Size of the Front bulb sprocket

Hey I want to change my front light bulbs to the nice blue looking ones. I am trying to figure out what size spocket are the stock light bulbs. I was reading that is a 9007 sprocket. I am wondering will a 9006 sprocket fit and work just fine? Because i was going to get this from ebay if it will work.

it will go in the back of the light and lock but the seal will be different and I'd say it's a no go search I'm sure you can get the blue bulbs in 9006 and 9007 just make sure the number is correct for your truck.

I fought many many many different halogen bulbs in my truck.....silverstar, eurotech, luminics, piaas....NEVER satisfied. Then I settled with HID's. Output of all those 'xenon replacement bulbs' SUCK. I wasted far too much money finding a good bulb. Shoulda went HID's in the beginning on my truck.

Sprocket? lol. Its just the bulb type. I believe 93-97's are 9004 and 98+ are 9007.

Unfortunately, that ebay link you just provided have falsely advertised items. They are NOT HID, they are halogen.

The best halogen I ran was Luminics titaniums. You'll need an upgraded harness too so you won't melt your stock plugs. $60 plus harnesses....that's the same price you can get hid's for. And HID's blow halogens out the water.

you get what you pay for. I'm with fx4wannabe01 on this one, i wouldn't waste my money on the other bulbs i'd just save and do it with the hid kit or nothing at all..

Like I said...I've wasted far too much money trying to find good halogen replacements. Came up empty handed everytime except for those expensive Luminics. Just go HID if you've got 'domes' over your headlight bulb. If not, just get Silverstar Ultras.

The reason is that while yes they look cool coming at you all white with a blue tint....but the output of them are severly suffered. Those luminics are like 130w or 110w(idk which) and it requires those upgraded 14ga harnesses so it won't melt your factory plugs(one of mine melted).

Oh alright.
I might just go with the ones i first showed you on Ebay. Because they cant be that bad. I mean if they are good lighting then they shouldn't be bad. Because they sell bulbs at autozone like this so yeah.

I don't have one, that's why I said I believe because most ford single bulb/dual element headlight bulbs of that era were 9004.

Like I said...they look cool...but performance wise, they suck balls. You don't have to listen to me, just telling you my experience with them and similar 'vatozone' bulbs...

Alright thanks.
Yeah there only like like 7 buxs so it wont hurt to try. I mean my stock bulbs are not that good/bright so this would not hurt nothing...
And my bulb i have now in there is a 9007 i think because they look similar.
Ill just keep my stock bulbs in handy just in case this burn out.
