Default Drove and 03 4.0 LS 4x4

Alright so over the weekend i drove a 2003 4.0 4x4 with a l/s that we repoed

That thing had 82000k and it was fast! It was all stock too. You put your foot to the floor and you would smoke the tires. My Truck you put your foot to the floor and it doesn't want to move!
Is it because it has the 4.0 and half the miles?
And Will me getting a limited slip help?

Well I'm no rocket scientist, but it might have something to do with the fact that you're driving a 3.0, and Ranger you drove today is a 4.0. My friend in HS had a 3.0 Splash, better then my POS 2.3 I had at the time, but not by much, not a lot of power in that thing.

Now...why the hell are you wanting to smoke your tires? It's a truck, not a racecar or sports car. There was a kid in my HS that had a nice GMC Sonoma, beautiful, new, mom and dad bought it for him. He thought he was so cool, and he impressed all the *******es by roasting the tires. Well that lasted about 4 months, before he destroyed the clutch. He tried to take it in for warranty work and they noticed his tires, were about bald and the truck only had a few grand on the odometer. No dice. If you want your truck to stay out there on the road forever, like the other Rangers you see, smoking your tires is not a wise thing to do.

It's pretty simple really.....01+ 4.0 puts down 200+ hp to the wheels. 3.0 puts down 100 to the wheels. Get it? lol.

IDK what exactly you're asking. If you're asking anything.

Driving a 3.0 and a 4.0 is like driving two different vehicles

I know when I swapped axles out and went with too a L/S it has greater take off power due to both tires turning and propelling me
