Default 1998 Ford Ranger runs rough with sulfur smell?

Truck was running okay before today. Not great as the acceleration wasn't what one would expect. I replaced the MAF last year along with various other objects inline like the fuel pump and filter, solenoid, etc. This reminds me of when my cadilletic converter went out in a car I used to have. It's a manual transmission, V6 3.0.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Disregard what mauricio said about using a used catalytic converter. DON'T EVER use a used converter 1) it's federally illegal to do so and 2) you'll have no idea as to how soon it will fail and need to be replaced again. If you live in an area where emissions inspections are not required then remove the catalytic converter (but only if you have found it to be the culprit). The other suggestions are good ideas to look into first.
