Rear parking/tail lights don't work.
Have a 94 Mazda B4000LE Pickup (Same as 94 Ranger XLT)
Neither rear parking light works; the brake lights work as well as the backup and directionals.
Have replaced both 3157 bulbs; doesn't appear to be a fuse as the license plate lights work and the brake lights.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

The parking lamp filaments of the tails are on the same brown wire and fuse and ground as the license plate lights. So, if the LPLs work, then you know that the problem lies at the rear of the truck - bulbs, bulb sockets or wiring. Try opening the 8-pin connector at the rear of the frame and check for loose pins or corrosion.

Thanks rwenzing!
Appreciate your response.
Replaced both of the 3157's so it doesn't appear to be the bulbs.
One of the lamp sockets is brand new and that side still doesn't work.
Exactly where would I find the 8-pin connector?
Thanks again,
Paul

Look around under the box near the back end of the frame. I don't have a 94 here to look at but it could be on the inside rear of the left frame rail.

Thanks!
And yes, the LPL's both work.
Will look for the 8 pin Connector.

Glad to help.
The fix will probably last a lot longer if you squeeze some dielectric grease into the connector. It helps keep water, salt and air away from the metal pins. I use it anytime I have a connector open.
