Ok, I am new on here, awesome site by the way!! I looked at the max tire size forum and have done quite a bit of research on tires.

I decided to go with 265/70/15 for my stock Ranger and my tire distributor is telling me they are going to rub unless I lift the truck. (I plan on doing the coil spring lift 1.5" at some point but thought I would drive it for a while before doing so) I really think they should fit as they measure out to about 29/10.4 but I was just looking for some reassurance I guess.. Thanks in advance!!

searching the forum before starting threads like this really benefits the rest of us.

Like I said, I did search the forum, I read through that exact thread, however did not find the tire size I was looking to use. There are no metric sized on that thread for 15's.

seeing as that's the same as your stock size, roughly, they should fit. they're smaller than the size listed on the chart of maximum size.

and good luck doing a coil spacer lift on a torsion bar truck.

Weird, this thread says I don't have torsion bars.. Hell, I don't know, Im no mechanic, Im just interested in making this a fun little truck to play with, maybe you have some suggestions for me??
