Wink New to forum w/ question

I own a 2005 Ranger XLT with about 45,000 mile on it . rarely has it gave me any problems but this morning I was driving it to work when the OD OFF lite started flashing . the Transmission appears to be shifting properly and when I engage the OD , it drops the rpms down (,like its suppose to)My question is
1) does anyone have a clue why this would happen?...... and
2) what damage can happen to the trans if I do nothing or is this a sign of something major about to happen??? THanx

If that thread does not help
you will have to take it to a transmission shop. They can read the code it is throwing.
