I am still in the market for a used Ranger/B series.

I cannot find shit locally, but I really want these options. In no way do I want an automatic. I will search and search till I find it. I think I am going to try and sell my car again in a couple of months. I owe about 8k on it, and KBB private party is about 9400. Trade in is somewhere around 7400. If I find the truck I want, and can convince the dealer to pay my car off with no roll over, I would trade it in. Otherwise I will try and sell it privately again. It is decently modded which is a no no for trading it in, but may help if I sell it privately. I could also put it as close to stock as possible first if that would help the trade in. None of this matters if I can't find the truck I want. Do all manual Rangers have a stick for 4x4, or is this even more rare? I would really prefer this over the push button 4x4.

Twin sticks were only found in 1-3rd gen 4x4's, you could also get them on a FX4 Level 2 for some years.

took forever to find a 4.0, 4x4, 5spd. i got lucky with this fx4, but i feel your pain

02 fx4's and 03 fx4 level 2's (same package) are the only newer trucks that could get twin sticks.

fwiw, when I bought my current ranger last year, I actually found it the first day I started looking for another ranger. but that was just my luck. In 2004, when I bought my first ranger, I looked for about 4 months for a 4.0, 4x4, 5speed but finally setteled for a 02 4.0 4x4 auto

a 4x4 4.0 with a stick isnt rare. the manual transfer case will be extremely hard to find

Autotrader is the way to go, it's how i found my ranger. Doesn't have twin sticks but it covers the rest and it isn't to far away.

theres quite a few of these here in my region, prob is there all base no power options

my 03 is a 4x4 4.0 5spd...and i have all options except the lvl 2 pkg and an auto trans
